Totally Tubular Upper and Lower Control Arms with Mini Sub-Frame for 1962-67 Chevy II/Nova (Part #6267TCA-ULK-B)
CPP’s Totally Tubular Upper Control Arms and Lower Mini Sub-Frame Kit for 1962-67 Chevy II/Nova revolutionizes front-end performance. The kit includes a 1/4” steel crossmember that bolts directly to the chassis, replacing the factory strut rod mounts and eliminating the strut rods entirely. This design incorporates adjustable forward control arm mounts, improving stability, alignment capability, and steering response while increasing ground clearance by over 2 inches.
The upper control arms are narrowed by 3/16” per side, allowing for additional caster, which is ideal for vehicles equipped with power steering. The Mini Sub-Frame eliminates the binding action of factory strut rods, ensuring consistent wheel alignment. It accommodates both factory and aftermarket sway bars and works seamlessly with stock coil springs, Shockwave™, and coil-over conversions. Finished in gloss black, the kit provides durable, high-performance functionality. Note: Lowered coils are not recommended when using drop spindles.
When it comes to upgrading the suspension on a classic car or truck, quality matters. From improved handling to long-term durability, the parts you install play a major role in how your vehicle performs on the road. That’s why Classic Performance Products (CPP) focuses on designing and manufacturing many of its suspension components right here in the USA, using modern engineering tools and robotic welding technology.
1964 nova stock front suspension, but all new. Will be swapping a LS1 out of a 2000 Camaro W/rear sump. Question, My goal is easy engine installment, so will the steering clear? I would like to use the Viking double adj shocks, and the power 400 box.
