CPP 9500CNK C-Notch Kit Adds Clearance for Lowered 1995–2000 Chevy Tahoes

Lowering a 1995–2000 Chevrolet Tahoe can dramatically improve its stance, but a substantial rear drop also reduces the amount of clearance between the rear axle and the frame. Without enough clearance, suspension travel can become limited and the axle may contact the frame as the suspension compresses. In our latest CPP video, we take a closer look at the CPP 9500CNK C-Notch Kit, designed specifically to provide additional rear axle clearance for lowered 1995–2000 Chevy Tahoe applications.

Installing the CPP 6370DBK Disc Brake Conversion Kit

The CPP 6370DBK disc brake conversion kit is designed to convert 1963–70 Chevrolet trucks from factory front drum brakes to a more modern disc brake setup. The same instruction sheet also covers the CPP 6062DBK kit for 1960–62 Chevy trucks. Before beginning the installation, CPP recommends reading the complete instructions, confirming that the kit matches the vehicle application and checking that the wheels properly clear the disc brake rotors. Installing the CPP 6872FLK-OM Brake Line Kit on a 1968–72 Chevelle or El Camino

CPP’s 6872FLK-OM Disc Brake Conversion Line Kit is designed for 1968–72 Chevrolet Chevelle and El Camino models equipped with a CPP power disc brake conversion. The kit connects the dual-reservoir master cylinder, frame-mounted proportioning valve, front caliper hoses and existing rear brake line. Unlike systems that mount the proportioning valve beneath the master cylinder, this installation positions the valve on the inside of the driver-side frame rail. Because of the new valve location, the original front-to-rear brake line may require slight bending, trimming or re-flaring to make the connection.

How to Install a CPP Universal Fuel Tank Return Fitting for an EFI Conversion

Converting a classic car or truck to electronic fuel injection often requires adding a return line to the fuel system. While many modern EFI-ready tanks already include a return port, an original-equipment fuel tank may not have the fitting needed to route excess fuel back into the tank. CPP Universal Fuel Tank Return Fittings provide a clean solution without requiring a return bung to be welded into the tank. These compact aluminum fittings install using a mechanical rivet-style design, making them useful for original fuel tanks, reservoirs, catch cans, and other applications where welding may be difficult or inappropriate.

Simplify Your 1947–59 Chevy Truck Engine Swap with the CPP 4759ETX-K Install Kit

Installing a modernized drivetrain in a classic Chevrolet truck can transform the way it drives, but the success of the swap depends on more than choosing the right engine and transmission. The drivetrain also needs a strong, properly positioned mounting foundation. The CPP 4759ETX-K Straight Axle Small-Block Install Kit brings the major engine and transmission mounting components together in one coordinated package for 1947–59 Chevy trucks. It is designed to help builders position and support a small-block Chevy engine and a compatible GM automatic transmission without having to source every mounting component separately.

How to Identify the Correct Ball Joint Taper for CPP Drop Spindles

Installing drop spindles is a popular way to lower a classic Chevy truck while maintaining proper suspension travel and improving its overall stance. However, before installing a set of CPP drop spindles, it is important to confirm that the upper and lower ball joints are compatible with the spindle.
Ball joint tapers and pin diameters can vary between truck models and production years. Using an incorrect ball joint can prevent the tapered pin from seating correctly in the spindle, creating fitment problems and potentially compromising the safety of the front suspension.

Upgrading a 1967 Chevy Nova with a CPP Mini-Subframe Kit

Classic Novas are lightweight, simple, and fun to drive, but the original front suspension design can leave a lot to be desired once you start asking more from the car. Worn bushings, aging control arms, outdated geometry, and factory strut rod components can make the front end feel loose, unpredictable, or less responsive than it should. In this video, a 1967 Chevy Nova gets a major front suspension upgrade with a CPP Mini-Subframe Kit. The goal is simple: remove the tired factory suspension components and replace them with modern CPP parts designed to improve strength, stability, steering response, and overall drivability.
