The CPP 6370DBK disc brake conversion kit is designed to convert 1963–70 Chevrolet trucks from factory front drum brakes to a more modern disc brake setup. The same instruction sheet also covers the CPP 6062DBK kit for 1960–62 Chevy trucks.
Before beginning the installation, CPP recommends reading the complete instructions, confirming that the kit matches the vehicle application and checking that the wheels properly clear the disc brake rotors. Parts that have been painted, plated or modified may not be returnable.
Because brake components are safety-critical, verify all hardware, bearing fitment, brake-hose routing and wheel clearance before driving the vehicle. The hydraulic system must also be completely bled and inspected for leaks after installation.
