Anyone who has restored a classic car or truck knows that getting the body, bed, or chassis separated is only half the battle. The height can be adjusted from approximately 20-1/4 inches to 35-1/4 inches in one-inch increments, while the mounting width adjusts from approximately 8-1/2 inches to 41 inches. That flexibility allows the same dolly system to work with a wide range of classic car and truck projects. The mounting flanges can also be rotated in 90-degree increments, giving builders additional flexibility when positioning the dolly beneath different components.
Move Your Project Around the Shop
Being able to move a cab, bed, or chassis around can make a major difference during a restoration. Instead of having a large component permanently occupying one area of the shop, a properly supported component can be repositioned as needed. That can make it easier to perform fabrication work, prepare parts for paint, clean the underside of a cab or bed, or simply create more working room around the project. For home builders working in limited garage space, that flexibility can be especially useful.
