The Wilwood 12.88" Forged Narrow Superlite 6R Big Brake Front Hub Kit is designed for 1958–1970 GM cars using Classic Performance Products Drop Spindle (P/N 30101). It features six-piston billet aluminium callipers for more even brake pressure and improved control, paired with 12.88” vented rotors that help manage heat during heavy braking. The kit is built for use with 17” and larger wheels, adding support for wider tyres or performance wheel upgrades. High-strength materials and precision machining ensure stable, consistent braking and long-term reliability. INSTALLATION DETAILS

An installer with experience in disc brakes should tackle this job. The process starts with removing the factory brake system, then assembling and installing the hub, bearings, rotor, and calliper bracket using specified torque values and thread locker on critical fasteners. Hub studs and wheel bolt pattern must match your wheels, and bearings should be packed with high-temp grease. After everything is assembled, bleed the brakes and follow Wilwood’s pad bedding process for the best performance. Stock brake hoses won’t fit; use recommended Wilwood braided lines and adapters. Always test the brakes thoroughly in a safe environment before driving.
