INSTALLATION OVERVIEW

Installation should be performed by someone experienced in disc brake work. After removing factory brake components and cleaning the axle flange, install the bracket kit and bearing retainers, ensuring correct orientation. Use red Loctite® 271 on bolts and torque fasteners per the manual. Carefully shim the caliper for proper alignment and smooth pad engagement. Route parking brake cables in straight lines with a 6–8 inch bend radius. Spin the rotor before final torque to ensure clearances are correct, and verify all components are seated properly before bleeding and road testing.

FITMENT AND COMPATIBILITY

This kit is designed for small Ford rear axles with a 2.66-inch offset. It fits axle flanges up to 6.61 inches in diameter and axle register diameters up to 2.80 inches. The rotor hat is drilled for 1/2-inch studs, so an upgrade from 7/16-inch studs may be necessary. Due to differences across vehicle builds, always confirm the flange pattern and clearance before final installation. Parking brake cables, hydraulic lines, and flex hoses are not included and must be purchased separately.
