The CPP Show Stopper HydraStop Kit is built for 1947-53 Chevy Truck platforms using a firewall mounted swing pedal configuration and provides a premium hydraulic assist brake upgrade. Early Chevy and GMC trucks frequently transition from manual brakes to disc conversions and modern drivetrains that demand improved stopping performance. Hydraulic assist eliminates dependence on engine vacuum and uses steering system pressure to deliver up to 1800 psi at the wheels for reliable and repeatable braking force. This Show Stopper configuration includes a billet aluminum firewall mount bracket, stainless high pressure hoses with return lines, AN6 fittings installed, master cylinder, and chrome accumulator cover for enhanced engine bay detail. Designed specifically for firewall mounted installations in 1947-53 Chevy and GMC trucks seeking both performance and presentation. Each HydraStop unit is manufactured new and carries a limited lifetime warranty when installed with a power steering filter.
