The CPP Show Stopper HydraStop Kit is engineered for 1962-67 Chevy II Nova models equipped with an IFS front clip conversion. This hydraulic assist system replaces the traditional vacuum booster with a compact steering powered unit that delivers consistent high pressure braking performance in tight engine bays. Nova builds with upgraded front suspension systems often require improved clearance and stronger braking to match modern driveline combinations. HydraStop uses power steering pressure to generate up to 1800 psi at the wheels, providing stable pedal response regardless of engine vacuum. This Show Stopper configuration includes a billet aluminum firewall mount bracket, stainless high pressure hoses with return lines, AN6 fittings installed, premium master cylinder, and chrome accumulator cover. Designed specifically for IFS front clip applications where packaging and performance both matter. All HydraStop systems are brand new assemblies supported by a limited lifetime warranty when used with proper hydraulic filtration.
My name is Travis Prowess from CTV Concepts in Gardnerville, Nevada. This truck is a 1968 C50 crew cab. We’ve got a strong relationship with CPP—we work with them a lot in the shop on our own builds as well as customer projects—so going with the HydraStop system was a natural call.
