CPP HydraStop systems are brand new hydraulic assist brake boosters designed to replace manual or vacuum assisted brake boosters in classic cars and trucks. All HydraStop systems are new units and are backed by a limited lifetime warranty when installed with a power steering filter. HydraStop operates using hydraulic pressure from the vehicle power steering pump rather than engine vacuum and is capable of delivering up to 1800 psi at the wheels.
The 1966-77 Ford Bronco uses a factory cantilever style brake booster bracket that offsets the booster toward the wheel well. CPP Classic Bronco specific HydraStop mounting replaces the factory cantilever arrangement with a raised direct to firewall mounting design that improves engine clearance while maintaining proper brake pedal geometry.
Engineered to clear factory Bronco hoods, this complete Street Beast kit includes the hydraulic assist unit, black direct mount aluminum bracket, rubber high pressure hoses with return lines, AN6 fittings installed, 1 1/8 inch bore master cylinder, mounting hardware, and black accumulator cover. A supplied bolt pattern template and offset angled pedal rod ensure proper alignment and straightforward installation.
