The Stage 4 Pro Touring Kit for the 1982-1988 GM G Body combines a complete Pro Touring suspension package with CPP’s next level braking system for drivers who want maximum performance, strength, and reliability. This kit builds on the Stage 3 foundation and upgrades the braking system to CPP’s C7 sealed hub front disc brakes with larger rear discs.
Suspension components include fully tubular front upper and lower control arms paired with front double adjustable coil overs for precise ride height and damping control. The rear suspension features double adjustable aluminum body shocks with lowered coil springs, along with tubular lower trailing arms and adjustable upper control arms to improve axle stability and traction. Front and rear sway bars are included to reduce body roll and improve cornering control.
Braking performance is significantly increased with CPP’s 13 inch C7 front disc brake system, which uses a sealed hub bearing assembly that virtually eliminates axle pin flex found with traditional spindle and hub designs. The sealed hub design improves strength, bearing life, and overall brake consistency while supporting larger diameter rotors. Matching 12 inch rear disc brakes provide balanced stopping power and improved heat management.
An aluminum master cylinder with an adjustable proportioning valve distribution block is included and is designed to work with power brake boosters or CPP HydraStop systems. This Stage 4 Pro Touring Kit delivers modern handling and braking performance in a complete bolt on package that uses factory mounting locations.
