The CPP Ultimate Mustang II IFS System for the 1965-79 Ford F100 F150, part number UL6579M2IFS-K, is the most complete front suspension package offered by CPP, combining steering, suspension, and braking into one fully upgraded and configurable system.

This system comes standard with a power rack and pinion, providing smooth steering effort and improved control. The suspension includes a heavy duty crossmember, tubular upper and lower control arms, sway bar, and Viking double adjustable coilovers, allowing independent adjustment of compression and rebound for precise suspension tuning.

Coilover spring rates are selectable, with options including 375 lb, 500 lb, 600 lb, and 700 lb springs, allowing the system to be matched to vehicle weight and engine combination. This ensures the suspension is properly supported without being too soft or overly stiff, maintaining correct ride height and handling balance.

Braking is handled by a 13 inch Corvette style big brake system featuring drilled and slotted rotors, twin piston calipers, stainless steel hoses, and C7 hub assemblies with sealed bearing packs. Calipers are available in black or red finishes.

Multiple bolt pattern configurations are available to match your wheel setup. Three options are offered. The first option includes dual 5 lug patterns, 5 x 4.5 and 5 x 4.75, commonly used on most passenger cars. The second option includes dual 5 lug patterns, 5 x 5 and 5 x 5.5, commonly used on most truck applications. The third option is a 6 lug pattern, 6 x 5.5, typically used on truck applications requiring a 6 lug wheel.

This design eliminates flex found in traditional spindle setups and helps reduce caliper pushback while improving pedal feel and braking consistency.

Precision cut and formed components maintain proper suspension geometry, improving camber control, reducing bump steer, and delivering predictable handling characteristics.

The system requires welding of the crossmember and spring hats for proper installation.

Minimum wheel size required is 17 inches.
