I am interested in buying this but I am not understanding why when the time comes to replace the rotors I can not simply change them out with standard stock replacements. Please advise.
The Chevy 2WD trucks went to Disc brakes in 1971. When they went to disc they changed the bolt pattern from 6 on 5.5 to 5 on 5. There was not a 6 on 5.5 rotor for this series truck that was disc brakes. We make it from scratch. You can use a 71+ rotor, but that will change the bolt pattern to 5 on 5. We do sell the rotors separately. 6 lug disc brake rotors are part AR-31810
