Old Body Style (OBS)
At Classic Performance Products, our Narrowed Totally Tubular Control Arms for OBS (Old Body Style) Chevy trucks offer a unique solution to the common issue of fender cutting. These control arms, being 1” narrower on each side, provide the necessary space to lower your vehicle without the worry of wheel-to-fender contact. Designed for either stock height or lowered suspension, these control arms are compatible with both factory coil springs and CPP’s Double-Adjustable Coilovers, making the switch to coilovers straightforward and weld-free.

Made in Placentia, CA, our control arms incorporate our exclusive D-Spec bushings and include sway bar end links for seamless factory sway bar integration. When combined with our innovative ‘88-’98 X10 Spindles and Hubs, your truck’s wheels tuck in an additional 1/2" on each side for a total clearance gain of 1.5” per side. These cutting-edge OBS X10 Spindles and Hubs, available in both standard and drop heights, feature large, sealed ABS-compatible bearing hubs. They come in both 5x5” and 6x5.5” bolt patterns, outfitted with metric studs (SAE studs are also optionally available).
