Street Beast Complete HydraStop Kit for 1955-64 Chevy Full Size

CPP HydraStop systems are brand new hydraulic assist brake boosters designed to replace manual or vacuum assisted brake boosters in classic cars and trucks. All HydraStop systems are new units and are backed by a limited lifetime warranty when installed with a power steering filter. CPP PSFF-K and PO-OF6 filters are recommended, but other suitable power steering filters may be used.

HydraStop systems operate using hydraulic pressure from the vehicle’s power steering pump rather than engine vacuum and are capable of delivering up to 1800 psi at the wheels.

The CPP Street Beast HydraStop kit, part number 5564HBK-SB-S, is designed for 1955-64 Chevy Full Size vehicles equipped with small block engines and floor shift steering. This kit mounts directly to the firewall and provides a complete hydraulic assist brake system solution.

Street Beast HydraStop kits use a black direct mount aluminum bracket and include black hydraulic hoses, a 1 1/8 inch bore aluminum master cylinder with black lid, a black accumulator cover, and an aluminum side mounted GM style proportioning valve that works with most pre-bent brake line kits. This HydraStop system is supplied with AN6 fittings installed.

Column shift vehicles may also use this kit. Depending on steering linkage clearance, 90 degree banjo fittings such as CPP part number HBAN90 may be required to route the hydraulic hoses away from the column shift linkage.
