The PV-2BH Brass Proportioning Valve is designed for use in systems with front disc brakes and either rear drum or disc brakes. This hybrid design is ideal for vehicles currently equipped with rear drum brakes that may be upgraded to disc brakes in the future. It features a 1/2 x 20 inlet for the front master cylinder and a 7/16 x 24 inlet for the rear master cylinder, with outlets measuring 3/8 x 24 for the front (two ports) and 9/16 x 18 for the rear. This GM-style proportioning valve ensures proper distribution of brake fluid pressure to both the front and rear wheels while maintaining separation between the two systems. It also includes a single wire brake light warning switch, with the wire (SP015130) available separately if needed.

Customer Questions
Does the PV-24AH require inverted flare connections?
Yes this brass proportioning value (Part # PV-24BH) does require inverted flare connections. All CPP proportioning valves require inverted flare connections.
Does the threads work perfectly with #67PBU/AT kit
you will need to get flare nuts and make your own brakes lines to use #PV-24BH with #67PBU/AT
Does a 4 wheel disc need a different proportioning valve?
Not when you buy one of our CPP proportioning valves. Our proportioning valve will work with both disc/drum or disc/disc applications.
What does a brake proportioning valve do?
A brake proportioning valve regulates the brake fluid pressure between the front and rear brakes, ensuring balanced braking power.
What size fitting is the back of the proportioning valve?
The fitting size is 9/16-18" but we sell a kit that would accommodate any popular size adapter (part number CP2091) which includes 3/8-24", 7/16-24", and 1/2-20".
Do I need a proportioning valve when upgrading from drum to disc?
Yes! A proportioning valve is needed to ensure the proper amount of brake fluid pressure is going to the front and rear wheels.
