The Big Brake 12 In. Rear Disc Brake Kit, part number 1012RWBK-P12-5557UGR, is designed for 1955-57 Chevy Full Size vehicles that have been converted to a GM 10 or 12 bolt rear end and use a 5 x 4.75 bolt pattern. This system includes 12 In. drilled and slotted zinc coated rotors, powder coated red aluminum calipers, universal hard lines, and universal parking brake cables with an external mechanical parking brake assembly. The 12 In. rotor increases braking torque and heat capacity compared to smaller rear disc systems while maintaining proper rear end geometry. Zinc coated rotors provide corrosion resistance and long term durability. Designed as a direct bolt-on installation for compatible axle flanges. Minimum 16 In. wheels required for proper clearance.
