Customer Questions
Does your CPP crossmember bolt to the factory location?
Our CPP crossmembers are designed for vehicle specific frame, but the length of the transmission will dictate the location of where the crossmember will bolt up.
How do I know my coil springs are bad?
If your coil spring is worn you will have missing or smashed bump stops, excessive tire wear, and poor ride quality.
What is a C-Notch?
A C-notch is referred to the C-shape cut you will need to do on the frame to allow for more suspension travel for lowered application. The C-notch kits we offer are reinforcement brackets to strengthen your frame.
Is the E3748M2-X a bolt on cross member?
Yes, the crossmember is bolt in, you’ll need to drill some of the holes when bolting it in. The spring hat needs to be welded in.
Why are the coil springs I purchased not the same height as the ones I took out of my vehicle?
When designing our springs, we achieve the desired drop by altering spring height, coil diameter, and coil spacing to achieve the best comfort and performance for your application.
When will I need to C-notch my frame?
We recommend using the C-notch when you plan to lower your truck 4 or more inches.
What engine mounts are welded on the E6267M2-DLX crossmember?
Those are designed for a Chevy small block, they’ll work with a big block using 2 of the CP-1114G engine mounts, if you have an LS use the LS1-KU-P plates.
How much travel does your C-notch add?
The C-notch will add 3 inches of travel.
