The CPP 500 Series Power Steering Conversion Kit, Part Number 4759PSK-S500, is designed for 1947-59 Chevy 1/2 Ton Trucks equipped with a Small Block Chevy engine and Short Water Pump. This kit includes a CPP 500 Series power steering box, hoses, power steering pump, small block mounting bracket, Pitman arm, and installation kit. The power steering pump pulley and steering shaft are sold separately.

will this go on a 6 cylinder engine not a v8
Hello! The kit in question will allow you to mount the gear box to the frame, but it comes with a power steering pump bracket for a small block and unfortunately we do not offer a bracket for the original inline 6 for the 47-59 truck.
