This front disc brake kit is designed for 1963 to 1970 Chevy 1/2 ton trucks and combines modern braking performance with a 2.5 inch modular drop spindle for improved stance and handling. The modular spindle design maintains proper suspension geometry while lowering the truck, helping preserve ride quality and alignment settings compared to traditional drop methods.

The kit features 12 inch vented rotors drilled and slotted for improved heat management and consistent braking under repeated stops. Wilwood two piston calipers provide firm, predictable clamping force and are finished in red for a high performance appearance. Stainless steel brake hoses are included to reduce line expansion and deliver a more responsive pedal feel.

These spindles move the wheel mounting surface outward approximately 1/4 inch per side compared to the original drum brake offset. This slight increase in track width should be considered when selecting wheel backspacing, especially on lowered trucks or applications with wider wheels.

Designed as a bolt on upgrade, this kit fits stock suspension components and is compatible with factory style master cylinders and power brake systems. A minimum 15 inch wheel is required for proper caliper and rotor clearance.
