CPP’s Tubular Control Arms for 1963-1970 C10 trucks are engineered for exceptional performance, providing full wheel travel and minimal friction. The upper control arms are constructed from durable 1-1/4” x .120” wall D.O.M. tubing, designed specifically for lowered springs. The lower arms utilize robust 1-1/2” x .120” wall D.O.M. tubing, featuring thick 1-1/2” x .188” wall pivot barrels to prevent distortion during welding and under heavy use.
The upper control arms also feature added caster for power steering vehicles, enhancing steering response and stability. These control arms incorporate self-lubricating, non-squeak patented plastic bushings, ensuring a longer lifespan than traditional rubber or urethane and capable of withstanding temperatures exceeding 400 degrees Fahrenheit. The chrome-moly cross shafts and sleeves are zinc-plated for durability, featuring an interlocking design that secures the hardware. The pivot design effectively accommodates both forward and backward loads, improving functionality over the original cross shaft pivot design.
