The 12 in. Front Disc Brake Kit, part number 6472SWBK-D12-UG-B, fits 1964-1972 GM A Body applications with a 5 x 4.75 bolt pattern. This system includes 2 in. drop ductile iron spindles, drilled and slotted one piece rotors, and black powder coated single piston cast iron calipers. Stainless steel brake hoses and mounting hardware are included.

Minimum rim requirements? Is this kit offered in a two inch drop spindle only? Concern about outer tie rod hitting the rim. My rims are drag lights with 68 Chevelle backspacing and standard width. How is the bump steer?
Most 15" diameter or larger wheels will fit over this brake kit. We sell the spindle by itself without the brakes. It is part number 6472DS-12. We have not heard of any bump steer issues when using these spindles.
