The CPP AFX Series front disc brake kit, part number 6474SWBK-STC7R, is engineered for classic GM cars using a direct fit AFX tall spindle. The AFX spindle is a tall spindle design that improves suspension geometry and handling without altering ride height. This stock height AFX spindle is paired with a Corvette style sealed hub assembly based on a C7 bearing design featuring a double row ball bearing arrangement with a larger outer bearing row to improve rigidity, bearing life, and braking stability while eliminating flex at the factory spindle pin.

This kit includes 13 inch drilled and slotted rotors paired with C5 twin piston calipers finished in red, along with stainless steel brake hoses for consistent braking performance and pedal feel. The C7 hub features a 5 x 4.75 bolt pattern with a 10 hole layout, supplied with 7/16 x 20 studs and provisions for optional 1/2 x 20 wheel studs.

A minimum 17 inch wheel is required, with the brake package ideally suited for 18 to 20 inch wheel combinations. This brake kit is compatible with 1964–72 GM A Body, 1967–69 F Body, and 1968–74 X Body applications.

For this kit how many inches do I need to have the wheels?
You will need a minimum of 17 inch wheel and this kit does have a caliper overhang of .75”

are these tall spindles ? to move the top ball joint up for correcting the camber on an A body?
Our AFX spindles are taller by just over one inch to improve suspension geometry.
