The CPP Show Stopper HydraStop Kit is engineered for 1967-72 Chevy Truck platforms and installs directly to the firewall as a complete hydraulic assist brake upgrade. Popular in C10 restomod and performance builds, this system improves pedal consistency when large camshafts or modern engine swaps reduce available vacuum. HydraStop uses power steering pressure to generate up to 1800 psi at the wheels, delivering responsive braking for lowered trucks and disc conversions. The Show Stopper package includes a billet aluminum direct mount bracket, stainless high pressure hoses with return lines, AN6 fittings installed, master cylinder, and chrome accumulator cover. Designed specifically for 1967-72 Chevy and GMC truck applications seeking both performance and detailed presentation. HydraStop units are new production assemblies backed by a limited lifetime warranty when used with a power steering filter.
My name is Travis Prowess from CTV Concepts in Gardnerville, Nevada. This truck is a 1968 C50 crew cab. We’ve got a strong relationship with CPP—we work with them a lot in the shop on our own builds as well as customer projects—so going with the HydraStop system was a natural call.
Will this work with drum rear brakes?
Does this bolt directly to the firewall without the old booster bracket?
Hello Jason and thank you for showing interest in our Hydrastop. This kit will bolt up directly to the firewall and it will work on a disc/drum set up.
