Street Beast Complete HydraStop Kit with Wilwood Master Cylinder for 1968-82 Corvette, Vacuum Booster Equipped

CPP HydraStop systems are brand new hydraulic assist brake boosters designed to replace factory vacuum power brake boosters in classic cars. All HydraStop systems are new units and are backed by a limited lifetime warranty when installed with a power steering filter. CPP PSFF-K and PO-OF6 filters are recommended, but other suitable power steering filters may be used.

HydraStop systems operate using hydraulic pressure from the vehicle’s power steering pump rather than engine vacuum and are capable of delivering up to 1800 psi at the wheels.

The CPP Street Beast Complete HydraStop Kit with Wilwood master cylinder, part number 6882HBK-WWSB, is designed for 1968-82 C3 Corvette, third-generation Corvette, and Stingray models originally equipped with a factory vacuum power brake booster. This kit installs as a complete hydraulic assist brake system upgrade and mounts directly to the firewall.

Street Beast HydraStop kits use a black direct mount aluminum bracket and include rubber high pressure hydraulic hoses with return lines, mounting hardware, and a black accumulator cover. This version is supplied with a 1 1/8 inch bore black Wilwood master cylinder. The kit is designed to retain the factory proportioning valve, and no brake valve is included. The supplied master cylinder allows direct connection to factory brake lines. AN6 fittings are installed.

Vehicles originally equipped with manual brakes use a different firewall configuration. Installation on OEM manual brake firewalls would require extensive modification and is not recommended.
