The CPP Grand Slam Kit is the ideal solution for owners of 1971-72 C10 trucks seeking to enhance brake safety while customizing their vehicle’s stance. This comprehensive kit includes 2.5" Modular Drop spindles that only move the wheels out 1/4" per side, high-quality bearings, and CPP's Big Brake kit with 13" drilled and slotted rotors paired with twin piston 52MM calipers, available in your choice of red or black. It also includes brake hoses, a master cylinder, power booster, and proportioning valve for improved braking performance. To achieve the desired stance, the kit features four gas shocks and four lowered coil springs, allowing customers to specify how much they want to lower their truck.
In addition to these key components, the kit includes inner and outer tie rod ends, custom adjusting sleeves, upper and lower ball joints, seals, spindle nuts, dust shields, and dust caps, with all necessary hardware for installation included. Compatibility notes indicate that this kit may not work with factory drum brake wheels, and inquiries should be made for trucks equipped with leaf springs. Note that factory 6-lug applications utilize 7/16" diameter studs, while 5 on 5-lug kits feature 1/2" diameter studs.
