The CPP Street Beast HydraStop Kit with side mounted GM style proportioning valve is engineered for 1973-87 Chevy and GMC Truck platforms and provides a complete hydraulic assist upgrade for squarebody applications. These trucks frequently receive suspension upgrades, larger wheels, and modern drivetrains that demand stronger brake assist. By replacing vacuum assist and operating from steering system pressure, HydraStop delivers up to 1800 psi at the wheels for stable and dependable braking performance. The integrated side mounted valve simplifies brake line routing and supports balanced front to rear pressure control. This complete kit includes a black direct mount aluminum bracket, rubber high pressure hoses with return lines, AN6 fittings installed, 1 1/8 inch bore master cylinder, side mounted GM style proportioning valve, mounting hardware, and black accumulator cover. Designed specifically for 1973-87 Chevy and GMC truck firewall installations seeking improved braking control. All HydraStop assemblies are brand new and backed by a limited lifetime warranty when paired with a power steering filter.

Can I use my original master cylinder with the original factory proportioning valve that it is already set up with???
Hello Bill and thank you for reaching out. If your master cylinder is 1-1/8 bore master then you can use it on our booster and you can use the factory valve.
