Product Overview

The CPP Mustang II Rack & Pinion is a brand-new power steering rack featuring a 3/4 x 36 spline and a 15.5” bolt spread, with a 2.5 turn-to-turn ratio. It's used on all CPP IFS kits with power steering and can replace Mustang II racks with a 16” bolt spread when paired with the optional bushing kit (6-701G-O). For optimal installation, the M2PSH-RT hose kit is recommended.

Will this rack fit on a Heidts mustang ll front suspension in a 68 Mustang? I have the manual rack and want to upgrade.

The rack part M21400-PK will work but you will need to ask Heidts if any offset bushings or rack extenders are needed.
