The Wilwood 13" Street Performance FNSL6R BB Front Brake Kit is designed for 1963–1987 Chevy C-10 trucks equipped with Classic Performance Products (CPP) drop spindles and 17" or larger wheels. This kit features six-piston billet forged aluminum callipers that deliver a strong, consistent pedal feel and improved heat resistance under hard braking. The large-diameter, vented rotors (13" or optional 14") improve cooling to help lower brake fade in demanding conditions. The included BP-10 pad compound blends well for both daily use and occasional performance driving, providing a stable braking response and reduced noise. Purpose-built calliper brackets, high-temp grease seals, and serviceable components help make maintenance easier and keep the system reliable for both road and mild track use.

INSTALLATION DETAILS

Installing this Wilwood kit takes some mechanical experience—brake knowledge and the right tools are important. The process begins with completely stripped and clean spindles. Use the supplied brackets, shims, and spacers to line up callipers and rotors correctly. Pack bearings with high-temp disc brake grease, and install all hardware using correct torque specs and thread locker as specified. Callipers must be oriented so the largest piston trails the direction of rotor rotation. Standard OEM brake lines do not fit, so Wilwood-specific lines and adapters are required. Properly bleed the system and bed the brake pads before driving. Regular inspections for leaks or loose fasteners are recommended after initial installation.

FACTORY FIT NOTES

- Fits 1963–1987 Chevy C-10 trucks with CPP drop spindles: CP30106-2 (1963–1970), CP30106-3 (1971–1972), CP30106-4 (1973–1987). Spindles are sold separately.
- Will not fit OEM spindles—verify spindle part number before installation.
- Requires minimum 17" wheels due to caliper/rotor size.
- Use Wilwood-specific brake hoses; OEM flex lines are not compatible.
