INSTALLATION DETAILS

Installation should be done by someone with disc brake system experience. OEM brakes must be fully removed and the spindle area cleaned before installing the new calliper brackets and hubs. Bearings should be packed with high-temperature grease. Callipers are centred using included shims and require proper torque on all fasteners with red thread lockers on specified bolts. The original rubber brake hoses will not work; Wilwood braided stainless hose kits in various lengths are recommended. After installing the hardware and brake hose, bleed the brakes carefully, then test at slow speeds before using them on the road. Follow the bedding-in process for brake pads and rotors and perform regular inspections after installation.
