Wilwood Street Performance FDL Rear P-Brake Kits, Black Caliper For FDLI, 12 Bolt, 2.75/ 2.81 Offset

Available in both 12 and 13” brake packages with 4 and 6 piston calipers. These rear Wilwood brake kits are a perfect match for their front brake systems. These kits come complete with brackets, rotors, calipers and a built in internal parking brake assembly. Also available with plain or drilled and slotted rotors and come standard with Black calipers or optional Red calipers. 12” brakes fit with most 15” or larger wheels where 13” brakes require a 17” or larger wheel.

The Wilwood Street Performance FDL Rear Disc Brake Kit is designed to fit 12-bolt rear axles with 2.75" or 2.81" axle offsets. It includes forged Dynalite four-piston calipers (black powder coat standard, red optional), 12.19" brake rotors (available in plain, or drilled and slotted designs), and an internal parking brake mechanism. This kit offers better braking performance, making it suitable for both street and track use. All necessary components are included such as calipers, rotors, high-friction pads, mounting brackets, and hardware. Compatible with most 15" or larger wheels (verify wheel clearance). Engineered for better pad-to-rotor alignment and consistent braking response, it pairs great with the Wilwood front brake kit for a balanced braking upgrade.

INSTALLATION OVERVIEW

The kit should be installed by someone experienced with disc brake systems. Steps include:
- Attaching the bracket assembly to the axle housing flange using OEM bolts and red Loctite® 271.
- Fitting the rotor with its registration adapter to match the axle stud pattern.
- Using the correct number of shims per offset (three per bolt for 2.75", one per bolt for 2.81").
- Mount the calipers and brake pads using the supplied hardware.
Verify wheel clearance, axle flange pattern, and all alignments as specified in the instructions. Hydraulic lines and parking brake cables are not included and must be sourced separately.

FITMENT AND COMPATIBILITY

This brake kit fits rear axles such as 10- and 12-bolt GM, late-model Chevy, Mopar/Dana 60, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, and Buick. Make sure to confirm the axle housing flange pattern, center the register diameter (2.80"), and axle flange-to-housing dimensions for compatibility. Ensure the kit's 2.75" or 2.81" offset matches your application. Vehicles with smaller OEM axle studs may require upgrading to 1/2" studs.
