1963-72 C10 Long Bed to Short Bed Kit (Part # 6372LBCSK)
With the growing popularity in short bed trucks, Classic Performance Products (CPP) has introduced a long bed frame shortening kit designed with the DIY enthusiast in mind. These new kits take all the guesswork out of cutting and shortening a long bed frame. What would normally take days by an expert fabricator can now be accomplished in an afternoon with just a drill, a saw and basic hand tools. The kits come with a simple template used for drilling and cutting the frame. A strong, laser-cut C-channel is also provided to reattach the shortened frame. Hardware is included to bolt together the frame sections, but welding is recommended to ensure long-term structural rigidity. The template even includes instructions on how to modify the rear of the frame for mounting a short bed bumper. CPP’s Long Bed Shortening Kits come with left and right steel templates, left and right C-channels and all the hardware needed.
1963-72 C10 Long Bed or Short Bed to Blazer Kit (Part # 6372LBBSK)
Converting a C10 frame to a Blazer frame is no small feat, but with our new C10 long or short bed to blazer kit makes it easy! This kit consists of two templates that contain all the holes that need to be located for the rear half of the frame that will allow you to bolt your Blazer body to the newly shortened frame. You also will receive all new body mounts for the rear half of the frame that will allow you to bolt your Blazer body to the newly shortened frame. Also included in the kit is an assortment of hardware and a pair of beefy C-Channel plates that can be used to mate the two frame sections back together to ensure perfect symmetry before the chassis is welded back together. This kit makes trimming a long bed 1963-72 Chevy Truck down to Blazer specs an afternoon's work with little more than a drill, saw and welder.
